During this year’s HTN Digital Week, Mr Stephen Lake FRCS, Consultant General Surgeon at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, discussed the application of electronic consent to the NHS.
The live webinar, which was hosted by HTN and presented by Wellbeing, explored the comparative differences between paper-based and digital consent, and highlighted the potential cost and time savings and error reducing benefits of a modern electronic system.
Stephen has been involved in the development of our eConsent product, which is being used at Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust as they move towards paperless consent forms and bring clarity to patients about to undergo surgical procedures.
